For years, white kitchens have dominated Pinterest boards and home magazines. They’re classic for a reason; clean, versatile, and light-filled. But at Studio 790, we’ve proven time and again that timeless doesn’t have to mean colorless.
From a sage green kitchen that blends tradition with personality, to a mid-century-inspired pink dream, to a bold cobalt blue stunner, our projects show that kitchens can make a statement and still stand the test of time. And yes, even if all-white is your thing, there’s still room for soul and personality.
Here’s how we’ve brought color (and character) into kitchens and how you can, too.
Green with Personality
In our Go Green or Go Home kitchen, Shaker-style cabinetry got an unexpected twist in sage. Balanced with a marble waterfall island and patterned backsplash, this kitchen proves a bold color story doesn’t have to be overwhelming.
Takeaway: Choose a timeless form (like Shaker cabinets) and let color do the talking. Balance with neutrals to keep it classic.

Pretty in Pink
Yes, pink. This Miami Shores Mid-Century Modern Kitchen was designed to reflect our client’s love for playful, fearless color. Paired with warm wood, brass accents, and geometric tile, the result feels bold yet sophisticated, never trendy for the sake of it.
Takeaway: If you connect with a color personally, it will always feel timeless in your home. Don’t choose it for Instagram, choose it for you.

A Bold Blue Statement
For our Blue Kitchen Project, we leaned into deep navy cabinetry accented with brass hardware, white counters, and sleek modern lighting. The contrast makes the space feel fresh and unforgettable while still rooted in classic design elements.
Takeaway: Darker tones add drama without overwhelming the room when balanced with plenty of light and metallic finishes.

White, the Right Way
And yes, white kitchens still have a place in our hearts. Our Palmetto Bay Coastal Kitchen is proof. With layered textures, natural wood tones, and coastal blues woven in through styling, this white kitchen feels warm and full of life, not sterile.
Takeaway: If you’re going neutral, lean into texture and layers. It’s the difference between “plain” and “polished.”

It's About Intention
Regardless if it’s pink, blue, green, or white, the real secret to a timeless kitchen isn’t about the color at all, it’s about intention. When your kitchen reflects your story, your personality, and your lifestyle, it will never go out of style.
