Ooooh we have been excited about this project for quite some time! We took a dated, 1970's home and poured all the love into it, bringing it up to 2023 standards and then some. It wasn't easy, we hit some bumps but with the collaboration from the client and the right team to execute, WE DID IT.

Alas, here is this incredible Gables by the Sea goodness, layered with a refined and modern coastal aesthetic featuring layers of natural elements with soft, contrasting textures. Let us take you through room by room!
Kitchen and Dining Room: The key design element here was the black cabinets! The client was a little apprehensive (rightfully so - black cabinets can be scary). But as you can see, given the space plan, the light floors and the natural light, the black is offset well and works amazingly in this home!

Next up the living/family room! We love this space so much as it's a perfect example of our approachable luxury design DNA. We paired a budget-friendly TV unit with more of a splurge sofa and coffee table to create a welcoming, kid-and-family-friendly space that is packed full of storage space, beauty and comfort. Perfect for a movie night or cocktails with friends after the kids go to bed!

Okay now let's pivot to the bathrooms! Honestly, this was one of the best parts of this Gables by the Sea renovation. Why? Because we had four bathrooms to design and this is heaven for us! Each space had its own design story and suited the respective user for their needs (be it kids, parents or guests).
