7 Years of Studio 790 Interior Design: Built to Multiply

Seven years ago, one conversation changed everything.

One yes. One client. One step of faith.

What started as a quiet hustle alongside a hospitality marketing career has become something we could have never fully scripted. But if you look closely, you’ll see that this moment didn’t happen overnight.

It compounded. And now we get to celebrate year 7of Studio 790 Interior Design.

The Origin: One Conversation That Changed the Trajectory

Long before our official launch in February 2019, the seeds were being planted. Skills were sharpening. Trust was forming. Credibility was quietly building. There was passion paired with action, prayer, and focus.

There was a move to Miami. A career in hospitality marketing that God didn’t waste. Digital strategy that would later become a competitive advantage. And then there was that one defining moment:

A conversation that compounded… and then multiplied.

For us, it did.

Year Six: Looking Back to Go Forward

Before we talk about Year Seven, we have to honor Year Six.

Year Six was about faithfulness. About being disciplined. About continuing to compound.

The first six years of Studio 790 were about being faithful with a few things:

• A few early clients that gradually expanded

• A small but mighty team

• A young reputation

• Limited resources

• Big dreams with small beginnings

We weren’t chasing scale. We were building trust, brick by brick. And over time, that trust turned into fruit.

Year Six brought:

• A fully staffed design team

• Inc. Best in Business recognition

• A Wayfair partnership

• Growth on LinkedIn and YouTube

• 335 five-star Google reviews

• Project to Profits gaining traction (online course for interior designers)

• Business mix diversity and expansion

But the real growth wasn’t just external. It was relational.

Compounding Isn’t Financial, It’s Relational

We think compounding is a financial concept. In reality, it’s relational. God multiplies through people. Through trust. Through referrals. Through the right conversations at the right time.

Friends became clients. Clients became community. Team members became leaders.

Nothing we do stands alone. Everything stacks.

Marketing builds visibility. Visibility builds credibility. Credibility builds trust. Trust builds demand.

Demand builds opportunity. Opportunity builds expansion. Expansion builds impact. That’s not luck.

That’s discipline. That’s compounding.

Year Seven of Studio 790: Built to Multiply

In Scripture, seven represents completion, maturity, and fulfillment. Not the end, but the moment something is ready to expand. 2026 is our Year 7.

A year where our foundation feels stable, built on solid ground. Where consistency, discipline, and growth have compounded in ways we couldn’t have imagined. This is not a restart. Nor is it the end. This is the beginning of a new season. A season where what we’ve faithfully built is ready to multiply. More impact. More responsibility. More people to serve. More influence. More dreams realized. We are not chasing growth. We are compounding it and trusting God to multiply it.

Team Meeting: Year 7 in Motion

To mark this milestone, we gathered as a team to reflect on where we’ve been and cast vision for what’s ahead. Check out the video here. This wasn’t just a business meeting. It was a reminder that this studio was never meant to be built alone. It was built through people. Through faith. Through grit. Through community.

And through a whole lot of laughter. We also had the opportunity to visit one of our two of our clients, including one of the first that we got to design a condo for. And later had the opportunity to design her home in Miami for her growing family.

What We’ve Learned in Seven Years

They may not remember every finish or fixture. But they’ll remember how they felt in the home.

And that has always been the mission. Studio 790 was built to multiply. Not just in projects, But in impact. In relationships. In purpose. Miracles are still in motion. And this truly feels like just the beginning.
