When Women Rise, They Bring Others With Them By Ann Lopez, Founder of Studio 790 Interior Design

A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of accepting an award as an honoree of the South Florida Business & Wealth Prestigious Women Award standing alongside 29 incredible women who are shaping this city in ways that honestly left me speechless.
This award honors South Florida's most influential, inspiring and successful female leaders. Women whose innovation, leadership and businesses are helping drive the local economy forward. And when I tell you it hasn't fully sunk in yet, I mean it.
To think that the business I run and the work we do are being recognized in a city I now call home after only 12 years here is honestly mind-blowing to me. That we are making an economic impact. That the grind of entrepreneurship is producing fruit. That the work we do is seen as influential, inspiring and innovative.
Still crazy to think a girl from a small farm town in Illinois gets to build this kind of life in Miami.
Only God.
I'm deeply honored by this recognition but more than anything, I'm thankful. Thankful for the resilience that came from the hard seasons. Thankful for every Client who trusted us with their home and their story. Thankful for every team member, every risk taken, every lesson learned, every late night and every answered prayer that quietly carried us here.
Because none of this happened alone.
And that's exactly what one moment at the event brought into focus for me. Something was said that I haven't been able to stop thinking about:
"We realized one woman could never represent the level of impact happening across South Florida. So we built something bigger because when women rise, we don't do it alone… we bring others with us."
That hit me at my core. Because that's the kind of business and life I want to build. Not success that's self-centered. Success that creates opportunity. Success that opens doors for other women. Success that points back to purpose, people and ultimately, God.
That's what Studio 790 Interior Design has always been about. We aren't just designing beautiful spaces, we're building something with meaning. Something that serves others. Something bigger than any one of us.
And we're just getting started. Its never to late to chase your dreams.
