Behind the Design: Our Dream Project at the F1 Miami Paddock Club

Designing for the 2025 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix was more than a dream—it was a 100,000-square-foot sprint through hospitality luxury, high-speed adrenaline, and immersive storytelling. This marked our third consecutive year designing for the F1 Miami Grand Prix, and with gratitude at the heart of everything we do, we don’t take that lightly. Being invited back year after year is an honor we hold close. For Studio 790, this project was the ultimate collision of bold Miami flair and next-level experiential design. The Vision

Our design philosophy for the F1 Paddock Club? Miami-style boldness meets ultra-curated hospitality.

The challenge: Create eight individual suites that felt cohesive as a collection but carried their own personality and energy. From the earliest sketches, we knew these spaces had to do more than just look beautiful—they had to feel like experiences.

We leaned into color, lighting, texture, and playful contrasts to bring a distinctly Studio 790 perspective to the world of high-performance entertainment.

The Scale

Imagine designing an entire luxury hotel wing... and installing it in a matter of days.

The scale of this project was massive: over 100,000 square feet spanning multiple VIP hospitality experiences. Coordinating vendors, timelines, creative teams, and install logistics—all at race speed—was an exercise in precision and agility.

We partnered with Wayfair Professional and other trusted vendors to source pieces that blended durability with design. Every detail, from the upholstery trim to the bar stools, was thoughtfully chosen to support both the experience and the aesthetic.

The Suites

Each of the eight suites had a unique identity—designed to surprise, delight, and immerse. A few of our favorites:

• Verdant Velocity: A Bold Fusion of Nature & Elegance

• Maison Minima: The features a clean, earthy palette—soft taupes, warm wood tones, and bold black accents—bringing warmth and depth to the streamlined aesthetic.

• Bespoke Retreat: Serene, sophisticated, and effortlessly inviting

The Takeaway

Designing for F1 Miami Grand Prix was a whirlwind of scale, collaboration, and inspiration. It pushed us creatively and logistically—and reminded us why we love what we do.
